Earlier this month, Crypto-News India had reported on a new Indian talk show that was all set to air on Tuesday. Shantanu Sharma, the founder of a blockchain training and consulting firm had spoken to us exclusively about the show, called Hard Fork.
On Monday, India’s first TV show on cryptocurrency and blockchain – Hard Fork – went live with the founderINDIA channel on Amazon fireTV. The show was being hosted by Sharma, who is a community builder in the blockchain and cryptocurrency circuit.
Speaking on the occasion of Hard Fork launch, Sharma, the host of the show said, “We are starting with a one-to-one ‘in-conversation-with’ type of talk format and will soon add discussion panels, public, remote and digital participation. The show aims to experiment and bring about a much-needed revolution in the Crypto & Blockchain space in India.”
The first time, we spoke to Sharma about the idea and its origins, he had said, ““We started our own start-up 6-7 months ago. We wondered about how we could make a difference to the community and how could we do more. We started talking to a media company startup and debated the idea of starting up a channel that would be only dedicated to talking about cryptocurrencies. So, I’d say it’s been in the pipeline since the past 4 or 5 months.”
Adding to that, the editor of the founderINDIA channel Lovejeet Alexander said, “The Crypto and Blockchain show is being hosted by someone who is an experienced subject matter expert. Hence, we have ensured engaging and insightful conversations in each episode. We intend to conclude every episode with fruitful takeaways and not have prominent personalities just for namesake.”
Currently, the show will also be available on YouTube. However, the team is in talks with different streaming platforms for a broader coverage.
